WyyMi must operate under a clear ethical framework.
1. Informed Consent
ALL information must be available to parents or individuals considering using WyyMi. It must be done so clearly and where appropriate it should be summarized in to an accessible and balance report so that non-technical individuals can understand the pro's and con's of WyyMi approach.
2. Hypothesis and Proof
As WyyMi does not yet exist, there can be no evidence of its effectiveness. It is therefore ethically unsound to promote it as being helpful to dyslexics and people with ADHD until such evidence is gathered. However, it is acceptable to promote the hypothesis that cerebellum training is beneficial to some people with educational problems if, in conjunction with Informed Consent, it is made clear that it is a hypothesis and not proven fact.
3. Confidentiality
The principal of open-science where anyone and everyone can see all the data gathered from using WyyMi must not breach an individual's confidentially.
4. Counter-Opinions
As an unproven approach to educational problems, WyyMi must allow dissenting opinions or alternative hypothesis to be expressed within the web site. People considering WyyMi should not have to search the internet to find this information and therefore space must be made available on the WyyMi site. However an ethical approach is required of those dissenting in so much that it must be evidence based, in cannot be anonymous, it cannot constitute an ad-hominem attack and it must be coherently expressed with the proper use of spelling and punctuation.
